How It Works

Step 1: Export your Revit® view to a .fbx file
  1. Setup view in Revit®
  2. Setup render dialog (The Lighting and Background sections)
  3. Export to .fbx file (File->Export->3ds max (FBX)...)
  4. Export a hidden line file (File->Export-> Image...)

Step 2: Upload the .fbx file and submit render job
  1. Upload the .fbx and the hidden line file
  2. Select custom rendering options
  3. Get FREE previews
  4. Submit the job
Step 3: Download your image
  1. Adjust exposure settings, if desired
  2. Download your rendered image
  3. Impress your clients!

Setup your view

Step 1: Setup your view in Revit®

Setup your rendering settings

Select your rendering options. The items you need to set here are the Lighting and Background options. Take note of the resolution settings and any exposure settings you set prior to rendering in 'Adjust Exposure' as you will need these when submitting your rendering job.

Export the file

Export your file by choosing File->Export->3ds max (FBX)... and then save the file.

Export your hidden line camera file by choosing File->Export->Image... and then save the file as .png or .bmp.

Submitting a job

Step 2: Upload the .fbx file to your account by logging into your account.* After logging into your account, click on submit a job. Now upload your .fbx and hidden line camera file and select custom rendering options.

Setup your exposure

Step 3: Download your rendered image. After rendering, further adjust exposure settings, if desired:
