CloudRender Support
The CloudRender add-in is designed to supplement the existing Autodesk Revit Architecture rendering system. We recommend doing a draft render locally first to make sure your background, lighting, etc are setup correctly before submitting a Full Render to the cloud.
If you have any additional problems, just call us at 877.663.3797 or e-mail support.
CloudRender documentation
- Open CloudRender Dialog (Addins -> Cloud Commands -> Render 3d View)
- Set the quality of your final rendered image. Choose Low, Medium, High, and Best. These correspond to the same quality levels found in Revit. Note that when generating preview images, they will be rendered at Low quality but final rendered image will be at this specified quality.
- Select output size:
- Select Printer and enter DPI (dots per inch) resolution size for printing
- Select Screen for screen quality resolution
- Select Use Transparency if all areas containing sky will be rendered transparent. Use if you will add your own background image.
- Select lighting settings:
- Interior: Check this box for interior scenes.
- Exposure Value: Enter exposure value for scene.
- Click render preview to render scene
- After preview completes, click Full Render on the CloudRender Dialog
- Select priority:
- The high priority system utilizes a large number of high performance computing systems to deliver renders on a tight deadline. The large amount of computing power required contributes to the final price.
- The lower priority system employs a lesser number of computers and results in a lower price. The low priority option is faster than a local computer rendering Revit but slower than the high priority option.
- Enter any coupons
- Enter your credit card information and click Purchase and Start Render
The rendering options for background and lighting should be setup in the Revit rendering dialog for that view.
