What is Limitless Rendering?
Limitless Rendering is a fast Revit® rendering service for scenes and walkthroughs.
How do you render so fast?
We use supercomputers that split up the render into small parts that are worked on individually by lots of processors so your render gets done faster.
Which versions of Revit® do you support?
We support Revit® 2009, 2010, and 2011. For earlier versions, please contact us.
To render a scene, how do I transfer my model to and from your service?
Your model is transferred through your standard Internet connection to our website over a secure SSL connection. You may also contact us to send us your scene for an additional fee.
If you prefer, you can contact us to send us your model and we can render your scene for you.
How do I render a walkthrough with your service?
Contact us and we will give you all the details for sending us your model, receiving a quote, and having your walkthrough rendered often within 24 hours.
How do I access your rendering service for scenes?
All access takes places over the Internet through our website. From your account page, you can submit new renders, see your previous renders, adjust rendering settings, and download completed renders.
How do I use your rendering service for scenes?
For specifics on rendering settings, downloading final renders, post-render adjustments, and more, please visit our detailed instructions.
How do I get an account?
You can sign up for your FREE account here and get 15 FREE credits!
Is this secure?
Our systems are secured with a combination of the following: 1) physical security with two-factor authentication by authorized personnel only; 2) network security with state-of-the-art firewalls and intrusion detection; 3) traffic security where all access to your cluster is encrypted; and 4) data security where any on-site or off-site backup data is encrypted.
Who owns the data?
You do! You maintain ownership of all data uploaded to our servers and all images rendered. We are not considered to be a third party in lease contracts. You will not need additional provisions with your data provider to host your data with us. We do not have people analyzing your data or accessing your data because our system is primarily self-service.
Why is my preview image so dark?
Make sure you are using the same exposure value as Revit® you found from your draft render you did locally. If it is still too dark, you may need to decrease your exposure value.
The preview image looks like the camera has moved, how do I fix it before I submit the job?
This requires adjusting the camera. An example for adjusting the camera was provided courtesy of Hilliard Architects.
How do I add my image to your portfolio?
Simply click "Add to Portfolio" next to your rendered image in the "My Scenes" area of your account. Then fill in your firm name and a link to your website.
What if I do not like my image?
Please double check:
- You selected "Interior" if your image is an interior image
- Your exposure value matches your exposure value in Revit®
- If your camera has moved, you will need to adjust your camera
What if I have checked all my settings, and I still do not like my image?
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If there is a serious problem with the rendered image beyond basic adjustments mentioned above, let us know and one of our experts will do their best to ensure the image is to your satisfaction. If the image is unsatisfactory, please provide us with sufficient information regarding the reason why and request a refund in the amount of the rendered job within 30 days.

General FAQ
What is cloud computing?
A cluster is a group of computers that work together. This tightly knit group acts, in many ways, as a single computer. Clusters are used to solve problems that a lone computer cannot. Click here to learn more about clusters.
Can I benefit from using the cloud?
Anyone who has data to process or wants to process something quickly can benefit from a cluster. We offer these services.
Student FAQ
Students face unique challenges as they learn to render in Revit®. To help you, we have put together this FAQ of common questions from students.
- It is 2am and my project is due tomorrow at 8am, help!
- How many images can I preview at once?
- When can I render?
- What exposure value should I use?
- How many images can I render at once?
- How much will this cost?
It is 2am and my project is due tomorrow at 8am, help!
While we do render very fast, we do not render instantly (yet). The render time will depend primarily on the number of pixels and the quality selected. You may be able to render a smaller image at a lower quality to meet your deadline.
How many images can I preview at once?
You can open multiple tabs in your browser to upload and preview multiple images at once.
When can I render?
Our on-line scene rendering service is available 24/7.
What exposure value should I use?
You should first perform a draft quality render locally and adjust the exposure value to your satisfaction. That is the exposure value you should use on our service.
How many images can I render at once?
You may render an unlimited number of scenes at once.
How much will this cost?
We work with your education institution to minimize the cost to you.
